Im here to tell you how I removed a Acer laptop Bios password. I started by removing the top of the laptop. I was extra cautious on doing this because it had a built in jack in the front for headphones and speakers. After taking the top off of the unit I discovered that there was five buttons too the right. The buttons should be brown or black. I flicked these buttons up and then back down. Then I restarted the computer and and it booted in too the windows theme. Please make sure you remove the laptop battery before working on any unit and wear Anti-Staic rist bands at all times before messing wih electronics. Acer wants you too pay $100.00 and not get you're laptop back for about 3 weeks follow these simple steps and dont pay there high prices.
Also, if you need too remove the windows password I recommend you use Hirens Boot disc it is a very reliable program that allows you to remove passwords and also partition drives and many more programs.
